In a time when civilisation is so fragile, the music of Johann Sebastian Bach is a symbol of how our humanity and creativity can transcend the existential crisis of our society like nothing else can do and make us remember of our potential.
The Music of Cosmos is a concept presented in the form of a remarkably successful audio-visual presentation. Against the background of the starry sky, Bach’s music performed live by the pianist Elena Piccione takes the audience in this cosmic atmosphere, then the audience is being ‘returned to Earth’, by the Romanian Cosmonaut Dumitru Prunariu.
A spectacle of lights, music and thought, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A, which the audience will surely be delighted to take part in.
